Women's Ministry
"My purpose is that they may be
encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of
complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely,
Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge." -

Mission Statement:
We are a community of of women that exists to create
opportunities for women to come to know Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and
Savior and committed to grow, serve, lead, and connect through love.

Small Group Bible Studies:
Our ladies have small group Bible studies through out the
year. They are located at various houses in and around the Eunice community. For
more information about current small group women's Bible studies, email Becky
Tanner at women@fbce.net . Previous small
group studies have included studies from Beth Moore, Kay Arthur, Priscilla
Shirer, Angela Thomas, Lisa Whelchel, and Carol Kent

Carol Kent is a
popular international public speaker best known for being dynamic,
humorous, encouraging,
and biblical.
She is a former
radio show co-host and has often been a guest on Focus on the
Family and a featured speaker at Time Out for Women and
Heritage Keepers arena events; she has also spoken at The
Praise Gathering for Believers and at Vision New England’s Congress.
She is also a frequent speaker at Women of Virtue events
across the country.
Carol has spoken internationally in Germany, China, Korea, Hong
Kong, Guatemala, Mexico, and Canada. She regularly appears on a wide
variety of nationally syndicated radio and television broadcasts.
Past appearances have included Dateline NBC, At Home Live
with Chuck & Jenni, Focus on the Family, On Main
Street, LIFE Today with James Robison, Prime Time
America, Midday Connection, Family Life Today, and
100 Huntley Street. Carol has also been a keynote speaker for
the televised and nationally syndicated women’s conference sponsored
by Church Communications Network.
She is the president of Speak Up Speaker Services, a Christian
speakers bureau, and the founder and director of Speak Up With
Confidence seminars, a ministry committed to helping Christians
develop their communication skills. She has recently founded the
nonprofit organization, Speak Up for Hope, which will benefit the
families of incarcerated individuals. The goal of the organization
is to give hope to the hopeless, encouragement and strength to the
weary, healing to marriages that have been torn apart by
incarceration, and mental, spiritual, and physical stability to the
children of prisoners. A member of the National Speakers
Association, Carol is often scheduled more than a year in advance
for keynote addresses at conferences and retreats throughout the
United States and abroad.
She holds a master’s degree in communication arts and a bachelor’s
degree in speech education. She has taught speech and drama, and
directed women’s ministries at a large mid-western church. She is
also on the board of the Advanced Writers and Speakers Association
and she actively serves on the advisory board of MOPS International.
Her books include: When I Lay My Isaac Down, Becoming a
Woman of Influence, Mothers Have Angel Wings, Secret
Longings of the Heart, Tame Your Fears, Speak Up With
Confidence, and Detours, Tow Trucks, and Angels in Disguise
(all NavPress). Carol is the general editor of Kisses of Sunshine
series (Zondervan). She has also co-written with Karen Lee-Thorp
the Designed for Influence Bible Studies (six books in the
series, NavPress). Carol has been featured on the cover of
Today’s Christian Woman and her articles have been published in
a wide variety of magazines.
